There is nothing wrong with that!

This time of year I have to start off with lot's of coffee, after about four cups I can take on the day. I usually get up about six AM, my cats are my alarm clock. For me it's all about the comfort. When I am comfortable, I am more creative. Really, it's true! Or maybe it's the coffee buzz...CraveCutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17266646948003488534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6949315742598489928.post-65328077472923599082011-11-02T12:30:07.189-05:002011-11-02T12:30:07.189-05:00I would totally jump on board with your goals but ...I would totally jump on board with your goals but if there's ever a chance to sleep in past 7am, I'm doing it! And, pants are for the weak, I personally love sweatpants, not cute ones of course, but my husbands XL Costco brand sweatpants, they're amazing! (Or because i'm not following the pre-requisit of Rule #1 and am getting slap-happy).
I have made both rules myself. I both curse and am thankful for the regularly scheduled visitors (Hindi teacher and ayah) 6 out 7 days of the week because their arrival is motivation to get out of my Johnny Depp as Edward Scissor Hands hoodie.
In order to change my slovenly office ways I had to call a friend every morning at 8am for about a month to say my desk was clean. Maybe you just need a buddy: "Hello, this is Ada. I'm awake and, yes, I'm wearing pants."
Or maybe you just need one "writer outfit," (which must not show lots of wear, food stains from yesterday's breakfast, etc). I eventually took to wearing all black for performances and just adding a scarf or jewelry. Black, even if it's Wintergreen and Smart Wool always looks classy, I think.
